Lifestyle Tennis Academy
Lifestyle Tennis Academy teaches players various lifestyle skills through the game of tennis. Starting with play tennis for toddlers through to more advanced coaching for the tournament and club players.
At beginner level the players are introduced to the game by focusing on footwork, hand-eye coordination exercises and basic strokes used to play tennis. Tournament preparation for the more advanced players is done through mental, physical, tactical and technical analysis and application.
Our coaches focus on the individual needs of each player and will always act in the best interest of our players.
Coach Danie:
Danie Strydom is qualified and registered as a Professional Tennis Coach with SATCA (SouthAfrican Tennis Coaches Association) with a lifetime of coaching experience.
He has been involved with training on all levels for the past 27 years, including management level.

Coach J O:
J O Spies has been coaching for the past 12 years of which he spent 4 years at the ITF training centre in Pretoria, working with top African players.
He is a Professional Tennis Coach and has also done the ITF level 2 certification in 2003.

Grand Slam Tournament:
Australian Open
The Australian Open is the youngest of the four Majors. This tournament started in 1905 and was played on grass courts. The tournament as we know it today has been hosted at the Melbourne Tennis Centre since 1988.
French Open
Until 1925 the French National Tournament was only held as a national event. Roland Garros started in 1891 with the men's championships, while the ladies joined in 1897.
Wimbledon
This prestigious event started in 1877 and has been played on grass since then. This event caused for the amateur and professional circuit to merge in 1968 and through this move the "open" era began.
US Open
The US Open was played on grass at the West Side Lawn Tennis Club in New York, before 1975.
This year would introduce American Clay to the event, although only short lived seeing that in 1977 USTA (United Stated Tennis Association) constructed a new National Tennis Centre. This meant that the event would become a hard court tournament, situated at Flushing Meadows, New York.
